Brrr! It snowed here in Alpine last night. There are still a few ducks on our pond. Luckily no hummers had arrived yet.

Nice!  We just had a few flakes in San Antonio, and I'm talking about the weather!

You did get some snow! The flowers look cold. It does make for more opportunities for landscape photos.

I have been watching light snow falling here this morning. Not sticking, which is fine with me Smiley

Looks cold out there Carolyn, but at least the ducks are swimming, rather than walking on the pond.

We completely missed the snow this morning, but it's still cold enough for me here.

My sister just called and we got two inches of snow at my oasis. That's good. It'll melt and I won't have to water for another week or two.

No, I didn't, but it's melted now. I did hear a male Black-chinned yesterday  at the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institiute. I told them to get their feeders out.

Nice photos, Carolyn! This must be the same snowstorm that stranded me in Odessa. It had already snowed several inches when I left Indian Lodge at Davis Mountain's State Park, and the snow was coming down good! But I sure didn't want to stay there another night, so I took off into the darkness, with the snow falling. But was told by a State Trooper to get off of Interstate 20 and stay the night in Odessa because east of Odessa it was much worse.

Thanks, Gus. I'm sure it was the same storm that you were forced to wait out in Odessa.
